The GentleMAX Pro is a dual-wavelength medical laser. The 755 nm Alexandrite handles lighter skin and finer hair; the 1064 nm Nd:YAG is the wavelength used for deeper skin tones, where older single-wavelength machines struggle or simply aren’t appropriate.

The GentleMAX Pro includes the 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength, which is the one used for deeper skin tones. Your technician will confirm the right settings for you at your consultation.
